Professional services described as Davis™, Davis Dyslexia Correction®, Davis Symbol Mastery®, Davis Orientation Counseling®, Davis Math Mastery® and Davis Learning Strategies® may only be provided by persons who are employed by a licensed Davis Specialist, or who are trained and licensed as Davis Facilitators by Davis Dyslexia Association International®.

1. The Assessment ()
 
This is the first step in the process, and it will determine if a client is a suitable candidate for the program. The assessment takes about an hour and a half to two hours. 2. The Program

This is a one on one, one week program. Many short breaks are taken throughout the day as needed for rest periods, and to enjoy significant successes. Tools & strategies are learned to help the client self-correct their dyslexia. Clients will learn HOW THEY LEARN and leave with the ability to implement the knowledge obtained during the program into daily life.

The client should be  personally motivated and willing to participate fully in the program.

3. Support Training:

On the last day of the program, there will be support training for a parent, tutor, teacher, or friend who will continue the critical ongoing work with the various skills and tools the client established during the program week.

4. After the Program:

The client will leave the program with all of the tools, understanding, and materials necessary to implement the program into their every day lives and achieve positive results. Like any process of learning (a new language, a musical instrument or sports), practicing of new tools and skills is necessary to gain the maximum results. Dyslexia Solutions of Northern California will provide unlimited telephone consultations and reasonable follow up visits as needed, to support that process.
