Welcome to Dyslexia Solutions of Northern California

We help children, young people and adults who have dyslexia, correct their difficulties with reading, writing, and speaking and thinking clearly. Some of the effects of dyslexia such as ADD and dysgraphia (handwriting issues)are also addressed.

The Davis Dyslexia Correction ® Program is one of the most widely used  dyslexia correction programs world-wide, with over 500 licensed facilitators in 35 countries.

The Davis Dyslexia Correction ® Program deals with the root cause of dyslexia and not just the symptoms! Dyslexia is not the result of a genetic flaw or nerve damage. It is not caused by a malformation of the brain, inner ears or eyes.

Dyslexia is a product of thought and a special way of reacting to confusion. It is not limited to reversals of letters and words. The Davis theories and procedures were developed by a dyslexic, not to explain the nature of the problem, but to discover how to correct it.

Dyslexic people are visual, multi dimensional thinkers. They are intuitive and highly creative, and they excel at hands on learning. Because they think in pictures, it is sometimes hard for them to understand letters, numbers, symbols, and written words (sight words). They can learn to read, write, and study efficiently when they use methods geared to their unique learning style.
